Sussex wedding photographerHello! Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Emma and I am a Sussex wedding photographer who lives by the sea in Brighton. I love to travel and happily cover weddings throughout Sussex to London and beyond.

I frequently hear from couples how fast their wedding day goes by and the best advice I can give is to make sure you take time to step back and enjoy each moment. My goal is to capture these moments in an authentic, creative and unobtrusive way. My style is relaxed and informal, I wont boss anyone around – unless you ask me to!

I consider photography to be a form of storytelling and I fell in love with it as soon as I picked up a camera. When I’m not photographing weddings I enjoy other types of stories, going to the theatre, watching films and reading books.

I genuinely love getting to know each couple that I work with, every wedding is different. Being able to provide you with a set of images that tell the unique story of your day is something I strive to create and find hugely rewarding.

So whether you’re having a rural wedding, a beach blessing, or a big party in the city, I would love to hear from you. Feel free to Get in touch or head over to the Blog for more photos. I look forward to hearing from you.

Why Weddings?

I often get asked if I do things like studio, corporate and commercial photography. The answer is “no, not really” and sometimes people ask why? Well, what I am most interested in photographing is humans – especially humans displaying emotions. I have never been to a wedding where there have not been tears of laughter, tears of joy & tears of sadness for people who could not be there. To me, a wedding at its core, is a fantastic party that celebrates two people being in love. Who wouldn’t want to spend a day photographing that? Plus sometimes… you get cake.

East & West Sussex

I genuinely believe Sussex is one of the most beautiful areas of England, I love going for muddy walks around the downs, having cream tea in Alfriston, visiting local farms in spring and swimming in the sea as much as the weather allows. As a Sussex wedding photographer there are too many lovely wedding venues to mention from fun boutique hotels, to rustic barns and Manor Halls but some personal favourites are:
The Gallivant, The Bell inn, The George in Rye, Laughton Barns, Fitzleroi BarnAlexander House and Ashdown Park
