Blackstock Country Estate Wedding – Jo & Chris 02 Sep
Blackstock Country Estate Wedding
When I first met Jo & Chris, I’ll admit I was a little in awe of them – and I still am! Both super smart and incredibly sporty (Jo a highly accomplished hockey player and Chris a semi-pro rugby player) – but most importantly, they are super kind, down to earth individuals. Their wedding reflected all of these qualities and more! So much love and thought had been poured into all the little details of the day, it was a pleasure to photograph it.
I started the day at Jo’s parents house in Eastbourne whilst my awesome second photographer Liza O’Malley headed to meet Chris and the groomsmen at The Tiger Inn. After morning prep, much fizz and laughter, we headed to St Mary The Virgin Church in Old Town for the ceremony.
From there we headed to Blackstock Country Estate for the reception. It was my first time shooting here and what a gorgeous space it is! Two beautiful barns surrounded by 70 acres of farm and rolling hills with stunning views across the downs!
After some family photos, drinks and one of the most incredible best man speeches I have ever heard – the party continued long into the night. I had such a great time shooting some of the most amazing /questionable dance moves on the floor.
Jo & Chris, thanks for welcoming me into your team for the day. You guys are awesome.
