This week I had the pleasure of photographing the spectacularly beautiful Proud Country House in Stanmer Park. Having grown up in Brighton, it was a real treat to explore some of the behind scenes inside this historical landmark.
For those of you unfamiliar with this venue, this stunning 18th century Georgian Manour House is set in aces of fresh woodland in the heart of Sussex. A short drive from Brighton, Proud Country House is popular location for dog-walkers and people escaping the city for the day.
Their restaurant is open 7 days a week and offers fresh locally sourced quality ingredients. Everyone I met seemed really passionate about providing great food and quality service – and yes – the food does taste as good as it looks!
There is a selection of superb rooms available for hire and the new garden marquee makes a perfect spot for a big summer wedding! Or if you’re thinking of having of a winter do, the open fires look magical in the colder months.
Available for weddings and event of all sizes, this building is steeped with history and dotted with exquisite features at every turn. Proud Country House offers a romantic, relaxed and grand setting for your wedding day.
